What should I expect when dating a single father?

I recently starting dating a single father. He is a very nice man, and easy to get along with. The only problem I have is that he takes too long to contact me between dates. The norm is about three days between communications. He says that he doesn’t have a phone, so all our communications are through IM’s. He’s a father and he doesn’t have a phone?? That doesn’t seem right to me. What if he had the child and there was an emergency? Something seems off there.

The kids will always come first bottom line. maybe if you continue seeing each other he will try harder to see you more but until then either wait for him to be ready or leave now before its too hard

I think you’ll probably be able to find the answer to your dilemma at Lisa Daily’s site, (Plus, there’s a lot of good info there.) She’s the author of two dating books, HOW TO DATE LIKE A GROWN-UP and STOP GETTING DUMPED. It’s one of my favorite sites for dating tips and advice, and the videos are pretty funny.
I’m pretty sure she answers questions that are sent to her, you might try her for an answer to your question.
